The RYA Yachtmaster FastTrack course is an very intensive programme to give the beginner all the necessary training and experience to complete the Yachtmaster Offshore exam and gain the RYA Yachtmaster certificate of competence (with MCA commercial endorsement for sailing vessels up to 200GT). It can be customised to suit students of differing experience.

The programme commences with an introduction day where you will 'meet' the training vessel and the course will be outlined.

Over the next 18 weeks the training will be intensive and will include all the RYA/YA shorebased courses to train and develop skills in navigation, meteorology, seamanship, International Rules for Prevention of Collisions at Sea (IRPCS), safety  and much more.

The practical aspect of the course will involve all the RYA/YA practical courses plus additional passages to give both the experience and the pre-requisite logged miles, seatime and night hours as well as the qualifying skippered passages.

After this, the only thing left is to sit the RYA YACHTMASTER EXAM.

On completion of the FastTrack programme, students will have spent 53 days at sea and will have approximately 2,600 logged sea miles.
